Out-of-sight is out-of-mind…. but try doing these things for more effective social selling.

There are certain things you can do to stand out from the crowd, all while serving your followers… do things differently.

💥 Trigger notifications – do these things to make people see your name when they check their notifications:

– Visit their profiles
– Hit the follow button, as well as invite to connect – with a message of course
– Like, and comment on their posts
– Share their posts if you think your other followers will find them valuable
– Tag people in a comment, or in one of your posts

💥 Be more memorable – very few people do these things on a regular basis:

– Thank new connections for joining your network – with a voice or video message
– Post helpful content of your own more than once a week (even on a Sunday)
– Show genuine empathy and curiosity towards your followers – be less selfish and more generous in sharing your expertise

All of the above things are elements of social selling – using platforms like LinkedIn to position yourself as a valuable subject matter expert who holds his or her customers’ best interests at heart.

If you’re not making yourself MORE visible, you’re making yourself invisible – and if you’re out of sight, you’re out-of-mind too.
